Awning semi-trailers (Eurocars)

Eurofury, Eurotent is a universal semi-trailer, most often used for the transportation of 20-ton loads. The design of such semi-trailers (Eurocars) allows you to remove the awning, remove the sides, remove the racks for lateral loading of long loads, and if necessary, the frame can be completely disassembled. A refrigerator, or rather a refrigerated semi-trailer, is a vehicle equipped with a refrigerating unit and able to maintain a temperature regime inside the body in the range from + 12 ° C to -20 ° C inclusive.


The task of the operation of refrigerators is to create and maintain the specified temperature and humidity regimes in the cooled body during storage and transportation of the cargo under the condition of safe operation of the equipment.


Refrigerated semi-trailers are a necessary link to a continuous refrigeration chain, maintaining the temperature necessary for the storage of cargo when it is moved from one link to another. The importance of truck refrigerators is especially great for regions with significant distances between the points of production of goods that require cooling or freezing and the places of their further processing, storage, or consumption.


Unlike isothermal semi-trailers with heat-insulated bodies, refrigerators are equipped with a refrigerating unit with a system of automatic maintenance of low temperatures in the body.

Classification of refrigerators

The operation of the refrigeration unit of the refrigerator must ensure the necessary temperature parameters in the body of the semi-trailer for at least 12 hours, without additional maintenance of the installation. This classification is established by the European regulations for the transportation of perishable goods of APR Europe. Carrying capacity: 20-24 tons.

JUMBO is a van semi-trailer with a large capacity. This is achieved due to the special "L"-shaped floor and the reduced diameter of the wheels of the semi-trailer. Carrying capacity: up to 24 tons.

110, 120, hitch - these are the names of trucks that allow transporting the maximum volume (110, 120 cubic meters) of cargo on public roads without special permits.

This road train (trailer), in contrast to the Euro-truck, consists of a car and a trailer of the same or different volume and carrying capacity, it depends on the design features of a specific vehicle. At the same time, the total figures remain 120/110 cubic meters. / 20-24t.

Container semi-trailers

Container semi-trailers are a class of wheeled vehicles with a strict functional purpose.


Traditionally, container carriers are sea freight transport intended for the transportation of goods pre-packaged in special heavy-duty boxes - containers, weighing from 10 to 40 tons. However, the final points of cargo arrival are at a considerable distance from the port container yards (terminals) and the containers are transported to their destination with the help of specialized road container carriers (container yards are a place for unloading/loading containers from a sea container ship to road ones, they are also intended for the storage of empty and processing, storage of cargo containers).


A container truck is a semi-trailer, a component of a truck, which is used to transport containers, mainly on highways. A container carrier can transport not only containers but any cargo for which the platform can be picked up and fixed.


There are several modifications of container semi-trailers: standard container semi-trailers and low-frame container semi-trailers.


Low-frame container semi-trailers (length 12,650 mm., cargo height 1,100 mm., width 2,500 mm.) are used for transportation of dry cargo containers of increased capacity.

Low-frame container semi-trailers are designed to carry one 20-foot high/standard container, two 20-foot containers, or one 40-foot high/standard container. The weight of cargo transported on low-frame semi-trailers can reach 34,000 kg.

Standard container semi-trailer (standard length 12,500 mm., width 2,500 mm., cargo height 1,400 mm.) Designed to transport one or two 20-foot standard containers or one 40-foot standard container.

The weight of cargo transported on a semi-trailer with such a configuration can reach 31,000 kg. The suspension of all these types of semi-trailers is performed in a spring or pneumatic version.
